Who we are

BrICKS.club (BRitish Investment Clubs, Knowledge and Support) is a non-profit platform for British investment clubs. Each club's data belongs to that club; BrICKS.club processes it only to run the service.

What we collect, and why

Club details (name, subdomain, contact details) — to run your club's pages.

Member contact details (name, address, phone numbers, email) — visible only to fellow members of your own club, so the club can function as a club.

Private member details (date of birth, National Insurance number, UTR if given) — collected solely so your club's treasurer can produce each member's annual capital gains summary. These are visible only to the club roles your club grants that permission (typically the treasurer) and to you. Never to other members, never to other clubs, never to anyone else.

Forum posts, meeting records, and club documents — visible to your club's members (community forum posts are public).

Where it lives

Data is stored with Supabase in the EU (Ireland), protected by row-level security: the database itself enforces that only the right people can read each record. The site is hosted by Vercel. Emails are sent via Resend.

What we never do

We never sell data, share it with advertisers, or use it for anything beyond running the platform. BrICKS.club is a non-profit: there is no commercial incentive to do anything else with your information, and our running costs are published openly.

Your rights

You can see your own details on your club's members page, and your private details are visible to you on request to your treasurer. If you leave a club or want your data corrected or deleted, ask any officer of your club, or email us and we'll handle it. UK GDPR rights (access, correction, erasure, portability) all apply.
