BrICKS.club

BRitish Investment Clubs, Knowledge and Support

Every investment club exists thanks to the generous efforts of a few members. BrICKS.club exists to give them their lives back.

The hard part of an investment club isn't picking shares — it's the admin between meetings: the unit valuation, the ledger, the tax figures, the minutes, the chasing. BrICKS.club does those jobs, especially the treasurer's.

And BrICKS.club is a non-profit: registration is free forever, your first year is free too, and after that the subscription is set at whatever it costs to keep the lights on — shared equally between all clubs, and never more than £1 a month each.

What BrICKS.club takes off your plate

The treasurer's month, sorted

Unit valuations, subscriptions, and a clean ledger — not another spreadsheet.

Paperwork, filed

Member records, roles, and decisions — tidy, and safely backed up.

The club, connected

A club forum and email that keep every member in the loop.

If you think BrICKS.club could help another club, please do share it with them.

It does the jobs your committee had to do

Ask anyone who's served on a club committee: somebody has to value the units every month, keep the ledger straight, take the minutes, and chase the subscriptions. Usually the same somebody. BrICKS.club grew out of a real British club, and it exists to do those jobs — so no one has to volunteer for them again.

The monthly unit valuation

The treasurer's biggest job. Holdings and valuations live in BrICKS.club, so members' unit prices are ready — not rebuilt in a spreadsheet every month.

Subscriptions & the ledger

Who's paid in, what was bought and sold, where the cash went — one transaction history the whole club can see and trust.

The year-end tax figures

Each member's share of gains and dividends for their tax return — the job treasurers dread most, handled.

Minutes, agendas & the club rules

Meeting agendas are generated automatically and sent to every member. Minutes, decisions, your club rules and constitution stay stored where members can actually find them.

The club calendar

Meetings with dates and locations, in a calendar members can add to Google Calendar — or whichever they use.

Keeping everyone in the loop

One club email address reaches every member and archives to your private forum — no more announcements lost in group chats.

What you get with BrICKS.club

Registration is free forever. You can claim your club space and only upgrade when you're ready for the full toolkit.

Your own subdomain

A branded home for your club at yourclub.bricks.club, where members know where to go.

The treasurer's toolkit

Members, holdings, unit valuations, transaction history, and the year-end tax figures — so the monthly numbers are a glance, not an evening.

Your portfolio, live

The club's holdings updated in real time — a whole-club view, and each member's own share of it.

Private forum for your club

A genuinely private space — visible only to logged-in members — for ideas, decisions, and learning, without the group-chat clutter.

The fun bits

BrICKS.club runs a stockpicker competition with leader boards for your club and for all clubs — plus the most popular share across the community.

BrICKS.club community forum

Free for all registered clubs: connect to share ideas, compare approaches, and learn what's working in practice.

And because BrICKS.club is a non-profit split between all its clubs, the subscription works out at pennies per member per month.

Non-profit, at cost, in the open

BrICKS.club is a non-profit run for its clubs. Every cost of running the platform is published for anyone to see, and once a year the subscription is set to bring the books gently back to zero — never to make a profit. Think of it as the club's cheapest committee member: works at cost, never misses a meeting, and does the jobs nobody puts their hand up for.

  • Registration is free forever
  • Your entire first year is free — no card needed
  • Then capped at £1 a month per club — costs only, every cost published
  • Or one £10 payment for the whole year — less admin, our speciality
  • More clubs means lower costs for everyone — spread the word
  • Members with skills can offer them for reimbursement — like building the capital gains calculations
  • Cancel anytime

BrICKS.club

Non-profit subscription

Free for your first year

£1/month per club after your free year — that's the cap

Or pay £10 once a year and forget about it — we're all about less admin.

For the jobs your committee used to do by hand: the treasurer's ledger and unit valuations, the member records, your own subdomain, and your club's forums and email.

The running costs are published on the open Admin page, and shared between all clubs it works out at pennies per member per month — far less than the first round at the pub after the meeting, for the work that used to take someone's whole evening.

Register My Club

We’ll email you when your club’s subdomain is ready, and remind you a week before your subscription begins so you can cancel if it’s not right for you.

The BrICKS.club promise

BrICKS.club is a non-profit that exists to serve British investment clubs, not the other way around. Every cost of running the platform is published on the open Admin page. Members who build features — like capital gains calculations — receive a small contribution for their work. And once a year, the subscription is set to bring any losses gently back to zero: no profit, no surprises.

And when work needs doing — a redesign of the capital gains calculation, support for a new broker, a new cryptocurrency, a new club competition — it goes out to tender, and members vote on who does it.

In other words: clubs pay what BrICKS.club costs, and nothing more.
