The vision
Give the generous few their lives back.
Why
An investment club is still one of the best ways to learn investing: a group of friends pooling a modest monthly subscription, arguing about shares over a drink, and getting slowly, collectively wiser. At the peak there were over ten thousand clubs in Britain.
But every club exists thanks to the generous efforts of a few members. Somebody values the units every month. Somebody keeps the ledger, takes the minutes, chases the subscriptions, and works out each member's tax figures in January. Meanwhile the banks and brokers that once welcomed clubs have quietly withdrawn, and the organisations that supported them have disappeared. The clubs that remain run on spreadsheets and goodwill.
BrICKS.club exists to do those jobs — and to make starting a club easy again.
How
As a non-profit, run by its clubs. Registration is free forever and your club's entire first year is free. After that, the running costs are shared equally between all clubs — capped at £1 a month per club, or a single £10 for the year if your club prefers one payment to twelve — and reset once a year to bring the books gently back to zero. Every cost is published on the open accounts page.
Members shape the platform. Enhancements are requested and voted on by members; when work needs doing — a new broker, a new competition, the capital gains engine — it goes out to tender and members vote on who does it. Members with skills offer them for reimbursement. More clubs means lower costs for everyone, so clubs are encouraged to spread the word.
We will bring the best ideas from each club to make an environment that is as good as it can be. Ready to Enrich, Educate and Entertain.

- Each member's year-end capital gains and dividend figures, ready for their tax return
- Meeting agendas generated automatically and sent to every member
- A private club forum and a club email address that reaches everyone
- Minutes, club rules, constitution, statements and confirmations — archived and findable
- A join link instead of paperwork, with officer approval and proper privacy

When
The build plan is public: every feature, its priority, its development time (and cost), and its release date live on the timeline, where members' votes shape what comes next. Clubs and forums are live today; portfolios and unit valuations arrive in August.
Know a club that needs this?
If your club still runs on spreadsheets and the generous efforts of a few — send them this page. One member registers the club, everyone else follows a join link, and the first year costs nothing.
